The Domaine takes its name from the 17th-century Lord of La Tour Blanche. Later, proprietor and German emigre Frederick Focke introduced the “late harvest” technique widely practiced in his home country. This technique is practiced in other regions of Sauternes, such as Yquem, and delivers a structured, well-balanced, fruity wine.
