The Lornet family’s wine story begins with Frédéric’s grandfather, Eugene, a cooper and winegrower. Frédéric’s father, Roger, was among the first to bottle wines from Jura’s Arbois appellation. Frédéric embraced the family tradition, producing elegant Jura red and white wines. The Lornet cellar is in a thirteenth-century Cistercian Abbey. The Domaine has vines on sixteen different plots created by the Cistercian monks.
